Fibre is compressed and cleaned by the process of ginning and bale forms of fibre are take into the Blow room. It is a series of machines where opening and tufts removal happens, the output of which is lap (fibre in a condensed form),but in modern spinning lap is not in existence, which is replaced by Direct air suction of fibre into the Card. Carding is the heart of spinning - remixing, disentangling happens here and the output is a web of fibre called sliver. The sliver goes through a draw frame where drawing happens which is basically stretching and drafting the fibre. This sliver goes through combing process (if you need combed yarn) where the fibre gets combed and evened out. This thick mass of fibre is changed to a roving in a roving frame by attenuation(almost yarn type, but much thicker). This rove goes through the ring frame where the rove is stretched and made to pass through spindles creating balloons of spindling thereby creating yarn.
